Accommodating up to 40 residents, Windlesham Manor is run by a full-time manager who is supported by a collective team of around 42 full-time and part-time members of staff.
24 hour care is provided by on-duty staff and assistance is always available. As fully-trained personnel are crucial to the continuing health and well-being of residents, Windlesham Manor invests in on-going training, which is independently implemented and monitored. The majority of the care staff are qualified to NVQ3 in Health & Social Care. Each person’s care requirements is individually assessed and adapted according to changing needs.
The ancillary support team includes a qualified chef and kitchen staff to provide high quality food, domestic staff to keep rooms spotless, a handyman to maintain the house and a gardener.

Having worked in a range of areas within the care sector for more than 20 years, I feel privileged to work at Windlesham Manor where my co-workers are sociable, knowledgeable and caring and I feel that I am learning from the best people.
I love my work and the people I work beside. The daily meetings with the residents and their families are always welcome and I feel that Windlesham Manor is a home or second home for everyone involved.
Head of Care
I started working at Windlesham Manor in 1990 and still feel excitement walking through the doors knowing I am about to make a difference to someone.
I love working at Windlesham because everything is organised and well communicated amongst my co-workers which eases my responsibilities. We are one big happy family in a very friendly environment. I like to organise and plan my day but the most important and satisfactory thing for me is to see the gratefulness of the faces of all the elderly people. Even when doing small and insignificant things, like watering flowers, polishing the dust, stitching buttons, etc.
Martin trained in Westminster catering college alongside Jamie Oliver, Ainsley Harriet and Antony Thomas Worroll. Accolades include student chef of the year 1982. His career included working at the Dorchester Hotel under Anton Mosimann and the Connaught in London. Following on with his own catering business, French Collection Catering, where Martin cooked for the Queen, and festive occasions for film stars and music celebrities nationwide. After selling the business 25 years later he is now cooking for our very special residents.
I’ve worked at Windlesham Manor for nearly 20 years as a Care Worker and I was delighted to be recently appointed as Activities Coordinator.
I am very much looking forward to the challenges this new role will bring, and to researching and organising new and interesting activities that the residents will hopefully enjoyts.
